The full impact of this seems to hit you most when you’re alone. Also, the element of Water is coming through so strongly that I feel you are being ruled by your emotions right now; you’re thinking with your heart, not your head-- which is in stark contrast to this Queen. The result of this may be added conflict. How important is this woman’s opinion to you? Happiness in the home and in general are what is sought, and to a certain degree you’re going to be able to achieve this. But nothing is 100%, and this may be the impossible goal that you’re striving for because you’re not thinking rationally or realistically right now…the influence of the element of Water again. During this time of growth and decisions, you will ultimately and unexpectedly receive a spiritual awakening, and with it a new and unexpected perspective. *Note: You need grounding so as to be more in touch with the solid and physical aspect of the world, and to bring things into a more realistic perspective. Light a brown or black candle, and in its flames burn a slip of paper upon which you’ve written your concerns, situations that need resolving, your fears, and your desire for the outcome. Bury the remnants of the candle wax and the ashes in the earth.

Crystal Therapy The main theme for this month's newsletter is 'Family', and we're going to look at a stone that is beneficial for healing families:
Petalite Source: Brazil, Madagascar, Nambia Chakra: Higher crown, throat, soma, third eye Number: 7 Zodiac sign: Leo Beneficial for: Stress relief, stabilizing the pulse, depression, endocrine system, triple heater meridian, Aids, cancer, cells, eyes, lungs, muscular spasm, intestines. Works best at subtle levels. Named from the Greek for "leaf", Petalite is sometimes known as the Angel Stone because it enhances angelic connection. A shamanic stone that opens cosmic consciousness, it provides a safe environment for spiritual contact or a vision quest and facilitates spiritual purification, taking you to a dimension from which causes can be ascertained and transmuted. Particularly useful for ancestral and family healing, it reaches back to a time before the dysfunction arose and releases negative karma. Herbs
The following herbs share the energy and power to heal. Although these herbs have healing powers in common, they also contain individual energies, which can be used in a variety of spells.
Myrrh Energy: Receptive (Feminine) Planet: Moon Element: Water Deities: Isis, Adonis, Ra, Marian Powers: Protection, Exorcism, healing, Spirituality Ritual Uses: Myrrh was burned to Ra at noon in ancient Egypt, and was also fumed in the temples of Isis. Magical Uses: Burned as an incense myrrh purifies the area, lifts the vibrations and creates peace. However, it is rarely burned alone; usually in conjunction with frankincense or other resins. Myrrh increases the power of any incense to which it is added. Myrrh is also included in healing incenses and sachets, and its smoke is used to consecrate, purify, and bless objects such as amulets, talismans, charms, and magical tools. Myrrh also aids meditation and comtemplation. It is often added to sachets, usually with frankincense.
Gender: Receptive (Feminine) Planet: Moon Element: Water Powers: Protection, wishes, healing, exorcism, spirituality Magical Uses: Sandalwood powder is burned during protection, healing, and exorcism spells. When mixed with lavender it makes an incense designed to conjure spirits. This fargrant wood possesses very high spiritual vibrations and is burned at seances and Full Moon rituals when mixed with frankincense. Write your wish on a chip of sandalwood and burn in the censer or cauldron. As it burns it sets the magic flowing, but remember to visualize your wish at the same time. Sandalwood beads are protective and promote a spiritual awareness when worn. Powdered sandalwood can be scattered about a place to clear it of negativity, and is also used as an incense base.
Gender: Projective (Masculine) Planet: Sun Element: Fire Deity: Jupiter Powers: Protection, strength, healing Magical Uses: Worn during Elizabethan times to prevent coming to an untimely death on the scaffold, carnations can be used in all-purpose protective spells. Carnations are placed in convalescent rooms to give the healing patient strength and energy, and are also used in healing spells. Place fresh carnations (red are best) on the altar during healing rituals and add the dried blossoms to sachets and incense for the same purpose.

Spell of the Month
Death in the Family Spell In the event of the death of the “head of the family”, the main protector or income provider, preserve a lock of her or his hair. Nail it beside the lintel of the main entrance [of your home] with an iron nail to maintain the household’s prosperity and protection.
Family Unity Spell: Healing Rifts To heal rifts and maintain the unity of the family, you will need one hair from the head of each person in the family or each person involved in the rift, whatever you deem appropriate. 1. Braid them and tie together with red silk thread. 2. Wrap the braid in more red silk thread, winding it and making seven knots in it. 3. Wrap this in a small square of white silk. 4. Bury this packet at a crossroads.
Family Unity Spell: Paper Doll Spell Make paper dolls, one to represent each member of the family. Tie them together and place them in a basket to signify the unity of the family. Keep them safely as charms to use them in the following ritual, as needed: One person, usually but not always the mother, is designated leader of this ritual. She takes out the little puppets, one by one, from the basket and begs each to take on any bad luck coming to the individual it represents. When the ritual is complete, in the presence of everyone, the dolls are burned and pass into the spirit realm.
